We are the industry experts on racks. In this section you will find racks in both heavy duty Anvil Case style and SKB molded plastic cases. Selecting a rack for repeated shipping can be a bit tricky. If you have questions please feel free to contact us at 800-394-2697. We offer racks that are non-impact and shock racks. Shock Racks offer the best durability for the installed equipment. As an example, if you are going to rack up a large server system, with many hard drives, you may wish to work with us to develop an Anvil Shock Rack for the application. If you are racking equipment such as music amplifiers and mixers you should be able to select a shock rack from the "Plastic Rack" section. Equipment weights up to 150 pounds are easily handled by SKB Plastic cases, assuming the right size is available. We can increase the weight capacity in SKB as well with additional shock absorption devices. If your needs are heavier or large you should consider going with a constructed Anvil Case. In Anvil we can create exactly the rack environment required. We offer many adaptations including keyboard trays, laptop trays, drawers and special support devices for equipment that does not have rear support mounts. We strongly recommend mounting your rack equipment firmly, both at the front and the rear. |
