Technology Hardware proudly represents the true, original, Anvil Case Company. We use the term ATA CASE often, when talking with customers, as it is the best case made. Unfortunately, like a many Buzz Words, the term ATA is not known by everyone and is abused by many. When buying a case, such as an Anvil ATA style, it is important to understand just what ATA does for you. The Airline Transportation Association (ATA) and now the ITA (International), (a specification which we also meet), has created a set of specifications for transportation cases; ATA spec. 300, categories I, II, III and IV. The categories designate criteria for the manufacture and survivability of shipping containers. The spec. is now recognized both for Air & Truck transportation. The idea is to make a case that can hold up to the rigors of some very rough handling and not only have the case survive but, more importantly, the contents. The case contents must always function at the arrival location. All the insurance in the world can not replace an Anvil Case for that job! Though the ATA gives us a specification, they do not do the actual testing. In order to be compliant with the specifications, and also compliant with Military specification Mil 810 C & D, one must be tested and passed by an independent laboratory. Anvil has been tested and passed by two independent laboratories as being compliant with all the specifications mentioned above, meeting or exceeding all testing criteria. The test data documents and books are not going to make the "best sellers list" but the proof is always available from us on request. When our imitators claim they sell an "Anvil type ATA" or in general claim their case is an "ATA" case, simply ask for the proof. "Please supply the test data or certification documents"; its a fair question and it has only one answer. Either the testing has been done or it has not, no equivocation will do. A claim that a case is "built to" ATA is nowhere near enough. As an example, a category I compliant case must be proven, through testing, to withstand the rigors of at least 100 round trip shipments, minimum. A category II compliant case need only last 10 round trips. Ask us, we will be very pleased to supply the documentation. Ask any Trade Show Professional, Engineers traveling with delicate equipment, Safety Teams, Entertainment / Film crews or hundreds of thousands of other Professional Commercial users. Professionals, who want the best, want ANVIL. Anvil Cases are the best known and best respected Cases in the business. No question, no equivocation! We absolutely, positively, guarantee your complete satisfaction. Anvil Cases carry a lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship and materials. There simply is no better case. We design it for you, to work for you. |
