CAN I USE THE SAME CASE FOR OTHER SIZED THINGS?

The general answer is sure you can. However, this is a very good question because each Anvil Case is designed to fit a particular device. There are many aspects to our design criteria, but the one that applies here is that we design each case and compartments within cases to fit the intended device snuggly. There are appropriate cutouts for protrusions and special foam blocking to be sure each aspect of your device is protected and supported, whether it is a Flat Panel Video Display, Guitar, Studio Mixer, or a heavy and expensive Commercial Computer Server. How about "Space Parts" for a protection challenge, we do it all the time.

The intent of our case design is to have it function, as we like to say, in every geometry. Your case, placed in any freight system, ground or air, will be tumbled, turned, twisted, stacked and dropped hard. That is the nature of the freight world. All the "This End Up" stickers in the world will not change that. The meaning of "This End Up" in the freight world is that whatever end is up at the time, that fits into the space available, is the "proper end up". We design for that kind of treatment.

Because a case is designed to properly hold a device and the interior of the case is designed to give the device resiliency, the device that belongs in the case is the one that will get all the benefit of the design. If you want to put something smaller into a case designed for something larger, and then "bubble wrap" down to size, be our guest. But keep in mind; the case is now NOT working the way it was designed. If the device is particularly heavy, the problem becomes even more severe. A device, loose in a case, will accelerate during a drop. Therefore, it may not be properly protected.

We make many multi purpose cases where we have foam downsize inserts to accommodate several different devices. Also, if we built a case for you in the past, and the device going in it has now changed, let us know, we can re-foam it for the new device. The case continues on for years.
