WHAT IS A SHOCK RACK

The Anvil Case Shock Rack is designed to allow the mounting of equipment in an EIA standard 19" configuration (or others) and have it in it's operational mode. That is, shippable and ready to deploy at the receiving end without any further wire-up or assembly.

To accomplish this task the Shock Rack Case has an 19" EIA standard internal rack assembly interior floating in a foam shock ring. No goofy rubber corners or wire springs, but a full foam surround. All of that is mounted inside an ultra-durable, ATA approved, shipping case. Often the case is additionally equipped with casters for ease of movement. Sometimes even the removable covers can be equipped with table legs.

The entire system is meant to be shipped by any method, Truck, Air, Sea, etc. The interior equipment is always protected and ready to work. This system is made to be manhandled and still keep the internal equipment in operational condition.
